When our organization is able, it shall be the policy of the Saline Animal League that all animals needing to be given up by their owner (owner-surrendered) be approved by the Saline Animal League Executive Board..

The following information is important for owner to provide to help make a determination of acceptance of animal:

Spay/Neutered

Are your currents pets up to date on shots *provide proof

Does the animal have health issues

What is the animals temperament

Has it been involved in a bite case - human or other animal

Approximate age of the animal

Acceptance of owner-surrendered pets requires completing Animal Owner-Surrender form. Completion of form does not guarantee placement in our care, and shall be based on available space, animal temperament, etc.
